March Maintenance and Checkup List!

March:

1)     Maintain exterior foundation grading/slope to ensure water moves away from home.
2)     Inspect roof surface flashing, eaves, and soffits; repair if necessary.
3)     Drain approximately 2 gallons from water heater to eliminate sediment.
4)     Examine, repair and replace caulk and grout around tub and shower.
5)     Service kitchen disposal by grinding several cups of ice cubes.
6)     Check window and door screens; replace or patch if needed.
7)     Vacuum bathroom vent covers.
8)     Tune up lawn mower.
9)     Inspect roof for snow and ice damage and repair as necessary. (Remember, only a professional roofing contractor should be allowed to walk on your roof).
10) Re-seal exterior wood surfaces such as decks, wood stairs, wood railing, etc.  

Weekly:
1)     Furniture Dust all hard surfaces.
2)     Floors Vacuum or mop. 
3)     Kitchen sink Scrub and disinfect. 
4)     Appliances Wipe down surfaces. 
5)     Shower Clean and scrub down. 
6)     Counters Wipe down and disinfect. 
7)     Bathtub Clean and scrub down. 
8)     Toilet Scrub and disinfect. 
9)     Sheets Change and launder.  

    I had a good list of yard maintenance items to place in here as well, but I seem to have left them at home.. I’ll add them later!!
